Heavy Weight started because talented artists in Egypt kept losing to worse records with better marketing. We exist to close that gap.
Eighteen people. One floor in New Cairo. Every discipline a release needs, sitting in the same room.
We were fans before we were marketers.
Heavy Weight began in 2019 as a small promo team pushing independent Egyptian rap. The scene was exploding, but the infrastructure around it was not — artists had the songs and no route to the audience.
So we built the route. First paid media, then press, then playlists, then distribution and a label arm to sign the acts we believed in. Today the same team handles all of it, which means nothing gets lost between agencies.
We work with independent artists, managers and labels across Egypt, the Gulf and the Levant — and we still take on debut releases when the record is good enough.

Founded in Cairo
Started as a two-person promo team running paid campaigns for independent Egyptian rappers out of a Maadi apartment.

Label arm launched
Signed our first three artists and built in-house distribution to 150+ stores with transparent royalty reporting.

Regional expansion
Opened campaigns across the Gulf and Levant, partnering with platforms and labels on MENA-wide rollouts.
